Image Analysis Engineers are responsible for creating quality technical solutions to solve client problems. Engineers must manage multiple projects, clients and priorities simultaneously. They must seek customer input, provide customer support, and maintain a professional relationship with clients on a project-by-project basis. Engineers must also work closely with project managers and must actively participate in developing project plans and providing regular updates against milestones. Depending on assigned task, engineers must be comfortable designing, developing, integrating, packaging, and testing software or image acquisition techniques using basic educational knowledge from the fields of biomedical engineering, computer science, and biology. To be successful, engineers must demonstrate creative thinking.

 

Responsibilities

Essential Functions: An individual filling this role shall be able to perform or learn to perform the following functions, with or without a reasonable accommodation:

  • Technical problem solving.
  • Creation of technical documentation.
  • Execute operational plans while ensuring compliance to various policies, regulation and client requirements.
  • Manage and collaborate with all team members regarding operational activities pertaining to the execution of assigned projects.
  • Provide accurate and detailed time reports, complete assignments within the prescribed timeline, seeking supervision/consultation/assistance in a timely manner.
  • Consistently and dependably engage in the process of critical thinking in order to formulate and implement recommendations or decisions.
  • Manage and collaborate with all team members regarding operational activities pertaining to the execution of assigned projects.
  • Provide accurate and detailed time reports, complete assignments within the prescribed timeline, seeking supervision/consultation/assistance in a timely manner.
  • Consistently and dependably engage in the process of critical thinking in order to formulate and implement recommendations or decisions.

Qualifications

Education & Training

  • Bachelors Degree in business or biomedical engineering or equivalent. Extensive experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • Outstanding programming skills in C sharp, C++, Matlab or equivalent language. Proficient in algorithm development and/or understanding. Proficient in data management and imaging.

 Experience:

  • Experience in the areas of biomedical sciences, software development, software engineering or R&D projects preferred.
  • Experience in working/complying with 21 CFR Part 11, 58 or 820 encouraged

In addition to the technical knowledge described above, advanced end user knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, presentation and database querying is required.  Additionally, skills are required in the areas of:

  • data management, implementation of processes and tools.
  • organizing complex tasks, managing key stakeholders.
  • verbal and written communication in American English, ability to work under deadline demands, active listening, innovation through hard work and collaboration
  • working in a demanding, high-energy, hands-on environment.
