We are currently seeking a Proposal Manager, who will manage the proposal process from Inquiry to Order including information gathering, coordination of solution strategy, proposal generation, proposal database maintenance, and contract/change order review.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Ensures that a Project Requirements document is completed for each opportunity.
  2. Interacts with Business Development to ensure that client requests are appropriately addressed in ERT Proposals.
  3. Creates Proposal Document using proposal templates/ tools and pre-approved proposal content.
  4. Manages involvement of the Solutions Team for protocol review, solution discussion and selection.
  5. Leads Strategy call for each assigned opportunity
  6. Schedules meetings with Solutions Team to ensure timely delivery of client deliverable.
  7. Escalates to EMT when input is required to finalize a solution strategy.
  8. Coordinates with sales team to complete preliminary pricing estimates
  9. Coordinates activities of various cross functional groups, including the Solution Team, Pricing Specialists, Sales Support Associates, and Contracts to move opportunities from Inquiry to Order in and efficient manner.
  10. Manages hand-offs between Opportunity Life Cycle process steps
  11. Tracks various metrics related to submitted proposals to support management reporting needs
  12. Point-of-Contact for re-bid requests, directs such requests to the appropriate OLC step to ensure timely delivery of rebid.

 

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Supports sales account teams in business efforts, as needed.
  2. Attends client meetings and participates on client calls individually and/or with Business Development as needed
  3. Participates in meetings with Sales Operations team, Sales to Service meetings, and other departmental meetings as needed.
  4. Provided other support and takes on responsibilities as defined by team lead or team management.
  5. Performs other duties, assignments, or special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, marketing, English, or a closely related field is strongly preferred. However and equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.
  2. 2-4 years experience in sales, technical writing, proposals, or budget development
  3. Experience in fast paced, multi take environment; ability to work independently and under pressure.
  4. Exceptional computer skill (MS office suite minimum).
  5. Exceptional organizational skills.
  6. Excellent personal interaction skills, professional telephone and client interaction skills
  7. Excellent judgment, attention to detail, communication and customer skill plus the ability to work as a part of a team as well as individual contributor.
