    We are looking to hire a Senior Director, Enterprise Business Systems and Desktop Services to lead and direct a technical team to deliver high quality technical and support services, business applications and desktops that achieve ERT’s business needs while managing the development and day-to-day operations of our enterprise business applications.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Provide direct oversight of Global Enterprise Systems and Desktop Client Services teams
    • Establish related operational policies and procedures.  Identify, develop, and diagnose process improvement opportunities, and communicate policy among ERT internal customers and other IT service teams (infrastructure management, operations platform management, security)
    • Ensure the successful delivery of ERP, CRM and HR business systems functionality and associated technical support services to the entire organization, including the incorporation of new groups through M&A activities
    • Provide expertise in support of key corporate initiatives including acquisitions, new products, service and business model changes
    • Manage the teams responsible for Level 1/2 support for internal business systems and desktop support
    • Lead the creation, implementation and delivery of an IT Services Catalog
    • Ensure proper tracking, inventory and disposal initiatives are properly implemented and adhered to for asset management through a Corporate Hardware Policy
    • Define, monitor and manage related performance indicators (KPIs) and provide / report on KPI analysis for diverse audiences
    • Create all relevant presentations, annual budgets and budget forecast to actual
    • Monitor all enterprise systems and desktop support escalation issues and improve complex or ineffective processes by recommending optimized solutions
    • Direct team priorities which will include recruiting, training, motivating, coaching and evaluating performance of staff in multiple, global locations
    • Oversee performance and compliance management, and manage suppliers of Enterprise Systems and Desktop Services products and services
    • Promote a culture of delivering analytics and business insights versus data

    Define policies, procedures, communications and training for the following:

    1. Adopts and follows change management procedures related to implementation of application changes on enterprise applications
    2. Ensures team maintains and turns over to IT Operations documentation necessary to operate all systems
    3. Establishes and tracks all requests for system enhancements and reports on project status
    4. Define and document desktop acceptable use policies and procedures
    5. Lead architecture and data integration discussions with R&D and other IT Service Delivery organizations related to enterprise applications
    6. Enterprise System Information Security Policy related to business systems - Document governing user access privileges (need to know, least privileges, segregation of duties/responsibilities)
    7. Enterprise System Information Protection Policy – policy defining information classifications and corporate access (least privileges)

    Other Duties and Responsibilities:

    Effectively collaborate and communicate with ERT Lines of Business, Executive Management and other IT Service teams to report out enterprise systems and desktop services operational status


    Requires a performance driven leader that has the ability to communicate effectively (oral, written, presentation) across all levels, understands and has first-hand knowledge of enterprise ERP, CRM, HR business systems architecture, implementation methodologies and is able to manage among multiple initiatives in order to lead proactively.


    Requires a demonstrated track record in organizational transformation, global leadership, and workplace technology support/services domain experience to build and evolve a strong leadership team and staff that is service oriented

    Qualifications and Skills Needed

    1. A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study (CIS, Business Systems or related field).
    2. A minimum of 15 years technology experience with significant people management responsibilities.
    3. Have defined, documented, implemented and established enterprise systems and desktop service policies and procedures for a software as a service provider.
    4. Strong management, organizational and evaluative process skills.
    5. Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain productive business relationships with internal partners and external vendors.
    6. Strong leadership and people management skills to build a cohesive team of members capable of succession to more senior roles.
    7. Demonstrated skills in coaching, mentoring and team member development skills.
    8. A track record of success in implementation of large cross organization technology data projects and data migration projects.
    9. Experience with managing a team with both operational and project responsibilities and with data warehousing.
    10. Experience in modern enterprise systems and data technologies, including use of both cloud and on-premise systems (hybrid)
    11. Experienced in delivering comprehensive business systems requirements.
    12. Possesses a strong understanding of business systems and data integration technologies and
    13. Deep experience with IT infrastructure, IT application technologies and frameworks.
    14. Demonstrated understanding of Enterprise Systems Information Security best practices.
    15. Experience with new means to provide desktop services, including:
      1. Desktop as a Service (DaaS)
      2. Desktop Support Kiosks
      3. Desktop Service catalogs
      4. Desktop self-service
