Pricing Analyst

The Pricing Analyst’s duties include rate card generation, RFI completion and database maintenance, and developing and maintaining pricing across all product lines for the sales organization. Responsibilities are focused on pricing to feed into budget preparation across all product lines, and also include pricing tool management/tracking and reporting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Pricing Generation and Maintenance
    1. Coordinates with sales team to complete preliminary pricing estimates
    2. Coordinates activities of various cross functional groups, including members of sales and senior management teams, in support of ERT pricing and to develop pricing efficiencies for competitive bids
    3. Secures approvals and feedback from legal and finance departments, as required
  • RFI Generation and Library Database; Rate Cards and Mock Bids
    1. Assists in maintenance of an RFI library for ongoing use
    2. Maintains a database of all submitted RFIs in CRM system
    3. Works with SMEs inside of ERT to gain best response for client RFIs, mock bids, and rate cards
    4. Tracks various metrics related from submitted RFIs and rate cards to support management reporting needs
  • Contracts
    1. Reviews Statement of Work documents to ensure consistency with pricing when requested
    2. Reviews project Change Orders to ensure consistency with company policies/pricing, when requested

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Support sales account teams in business-generating efforts, as needed.
  2. Attends client meetings and participates on client calls individually and/or with Business Development as needed.
  3. Participates in meetings with Sales Operations team, Sales to Services meetings, and other departmental meetings as needed.
  4. Provides other support and takes on other responsibilities as defined by team lead or team management.
  5. Performs other duties, assignments, or special projects as needed.

Qualifications and Skills Needed:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, math/accounting, marketing, English, or a closely related field is strongly preferred. However, any equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform job duties may be considered.
  2. Entry level experience in sales, technical writing, proposals, or budget development.
  3. Experience in a fast paced, multi-task environment; ability to work independently and under pressure.
  4. Exceptional computer skills (MS office suite minimum).
  5. Exceptional organizational skills.
  6. Excellent personal interaction skills, professional telephone and client interaction skills.
  7. Excellent judgment, attention to detail, communication and customer skills plus the ability to work as part of a team as well as individual contributor.
