    Join us in our Boston office as a Program Manager, and take responsibility for staff management, in addition to directing and managing services for client projects to assure high quality, on-time, and on-budget services while promoting excellent customer service.

    Responsibilities

    In this role you will:

    1. Manage designated Project Management staff, which includes:
    2. Mentoring and defining career paths by developing core competencies
    3. Ensuring proper training is executed and documented
    4. Conducting reviews of system set-ups and documents to ensure high quality of deliverables in accordance with quality standards and SOPs
    5. Coordinating routine status meetings to facilitate communications, monitor workload, and provide forecasting guidance
    6. Collecting and monitoring defined staff metrics 
    1. Independently lead the Planning and Setup, Monitoring, and Closeout phases of study management which includes:
    2. Gathering customer requirements and relaying to internal teams
    3. Developing study documentation
    4. Distributing/tracking equipment
    5. Creating/distributing reports
    6. Archiving study data and documentation
    7. Appropriate setting and fulfilling of customer expectations 
    1. Monitor study timelines and manage the financial components of each study, which include:
    2. Budget reviews
    3. Revenue forecasting
    4. Scope changes
    5. Invoice reconciliation 
    1. Identify potential study risks and mitigations, and escalate as appropriate. 
    1. Manage internal/external negotiations and promote collaboration to foster a positive team environment, effective communications, and efficient use of resources to meet study timelines and contractual obligations. 
    1. Develop and apply problem solving strategies to address customer issues and maintain issue tracking documentation to monitor progress and ensure timely resolution to customer escalations.

     Additional duties may include:

    1. Ensure compliance with timely training completion/documentation. 
    1. Present study services at Investigator Meetings or site initiation meetings as needed. 
    1. Attend client meetings with Business Development and/or Operational teams to present Company services and Operational Data flow, as needed. 
    1. Assist with developing training plans and training new members of the Project Management team. 
    1. Perform other duties, assignments, or special projects as time and/or circumstances necessitate.

    Qualifications

    Qualified candidates will have:

    1. Bachelor Degree and/or proven demonstrated Project Management skills or experience within the industry
    2. Demonstrated ability to mentor staff
    3. 4-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical field (or related industry experience), with an emphasis on project management
    4. Knowledge of the drug development process
    5. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, and prioritization skills
    6. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to communicate effectively in English 
    1. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products 
    1. Detail oriented and demonstrated responsiveness to inquiries and requests 
    1. Valid passport and ability to travel approximately 20%
