    ERT seeks an experienced and forward-thinking Team Supervisor, Export, to provide leadership and support to the warehouse & logistics department in areas of responsibility including administration, shipping guidelines, customs / global trade, receiving and warehousing.

    Responsibilities

    In this role, you will

    • Manage resources, assign work, provide appropriate training to ensure that all employees meet the business plan and achieve their goals
    • Supervise activities related to the administration of team scheduling, work assignments and recruitment.
    • Responsible for operational planning of Export projects.
    • Responsible for internal communications and presentations related to key performance metrics, process updates and on-going process information.
    • Ensure that business partners understand and accept Customs guidelines and requirements for logistics operation.
    • Implement, monitor and adjust solutions to ensure the integration of support considerations as needed.
    • Root cause analysis and problem resolution for Export operations.
    • Serve as the Contact person for all internal and external partners (including carriers) for daily operational activities related to packing and shipping.
    • Create entire shipping documentation, including weigh bills, export documentation, invoices and shipping records according to established guidelines.
    • Drive continuous process improvements for Export Team.
    • Main contact for Customs audits.
    • Ensures all customs related transactions are recorded timely and accurately, to reflect a correct value to declare at any time.
    • On request or periodically, the employee reports to the Director Logistic about the performance of the Department, the current status of projects driven by him, about deviations from the standard and the taken compensatory measures.
    • The employee immediately reports all unforeseeable risks, operational failures, time problems and extraordinary events to Logistics Management.
    • The employee is entitled to inform himself/herself about all matters concerning his/her project at all times. The employee is responsible for testing the quality of the products and services, which are intended for his/her respective project. The employee must decide on measures to be taken, should the quality differ from the stated specification
    • In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, the employee is obliged to perform other tasks upon request.

    Qualifications

    Our ideal candidate will offer

    • Professional-level training and/or education in strategic logistic and customs environment: Bachelor's or higher level degree preferred
    • Minimum of 4+ years experience in international Logistics and/or Warehouse distribution, including prior supervisory or leadership experience
    • Working experience with and proficiency in ERP Systems such as Oracle or JDE
    • Experience in Customs Compliance, Global Trade, Material Management and Forwarder cooperation, leading to strong knowledge of Import-/Export Guidelines and Legal Laws
    • Very strong communication and influencing capabilities; strong leadership skills and able to successfully coach and develop staff
    • Superior organizational skills in conjunction with project and time management skills
    • Skills in preparing shipping documents and coordinating out-bound shipments
    • Control invoicing and performance of forwarders
    • Developing business strategies by KPIs
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite products, especially Excel, is required; G-Suite knowledge helpful
    • Must have excellent English language skills (written and spoken); German language skills helpful but not required. 
    • Able to travel up to 20% (includes overnight and some overseas travel)
