    ERT-Philadelphia is hiring a Digital Marketing Specialist who will be responsible for developing email and online marketing programs that drive leads, increase website traffic, and position ERT as a market leader. This individual works across the Marketing team to ensure ERT’s products and services are appropriately promoted across all online marketing channels using a variety of best-in-class tools and approaches.

    Responsibilities

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    1. Support ERT website with ongoing updates and enhancements aligned to ERT’s marketing campaigns and thought leadership programs; maintain search-optimized routine content updates site-wide and identify areas that need refreshing (includes copy, assets, and visuals).
    2. Execute email campaigns and other time-sensitive online communications, including lead generation and lead nurturing programs; develop landing pages as required; deploy A/B testing and apply learnings to future campaigns.
    3. Support organic and paid social media outreach aligned to lead generation and thought leadership programs; research promotional options and targets; maintain campaign budgets and execute posts as identified in social media calendars and in accordance with promotional campaigns/calendars.
    4. Update ERT’s blog with a steady stream of posts that are optimized for online search; identify and ensure inclusion/tagging of relevant keywords; create visuals and graphics as needed to enhance readability of posts, prevent abandonment and drive visitors to other pages on ert.com.
    5. Minimize site abandonment and increase website leads/conversions using an array of tools, including retargeting ads and OptinMonster; develop calendar and maintain assets in support of broader lead generation campaigns.
    6. Execute inbound marketing strategies; perform keyword analysis in support of SEO/SEM strategies; optimize on-page and off-page SEO to earn higher and more relevant traffic in search engines.
    7. Maintain email signature banner programs; develop master calendar based on promotional calendar and key company news; write copy and design banners; create and maintain internal distribution lists.
    8. Assure quality of digital marketing campaigns, ensuring compatibility with web browsers and email clients and all links, images, subject lines, personalized fields, and list segments are accurate and working properly. Proof and edit all copy to ensure error-free communications.
    9. Continually update master campaign calendar, which includes multi-channel promotional programs across all ERT product lines and corporate outreach.

    Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED:

     

    Education:

    • Bachelor’s degree in digital design, internal marketing, marketing, business or communications preferred

    Experience:

    • 2-5 years’ experience in digital marketing, communications, and marketing project management
    • Digital Media and Marketing Certification or other online/software certifications are not required but preferred
    • Experience working in a healthcare environment is a plus
    • Outstanding communication and writing skills
    • Strong email marketing expertise and experience with email marketing system 
    • Excellent project management skills, including organizing, prioritizing, and tracking all phases of a project
    • Basic knowledge of HTML required; experience editing HTML preferred
    • Proficiency in salesforce.com, Pardot, and Google Analytics
    • Experience with content management systems, e.g., WordPress
    • Experience with Adobe Photoshop or Creative Suite preferred
    • Proficiency in MS Office programs and Google Suite
    • Detail-oriented, inquisitive, and problem solver by nature
    • Self-directed with strong time management skills; able to multi-task and work independently and in a highly dynamic, deadline-driven environment
    • A flexible attitude and able to thrive in a high pressure environment; adaptive to a changing array of priorities
    • A team player capable of working effectively with individuals throughout the organization
    • Intellectual curiosity and discipline to use data to drive objectives and apply learnings from marketing analytics
    • Proactive, creative individual who can generate ideas and transform them into practical solutions
    • Ability to work comfortably under ambiguity and/or shifting priorities
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail

    The Department Head has the discretion to hire personnel with a combination of experience and education, which may vary from the above listed qualifications.
