  • Overview

    ERT's Philadelphia office is looking for a Senior Telecom Systems Administrator to manage, implement, and support telecom systems within ERT’s data centers and office facilities/locations.



    1. Manages all telecom vendor contracts, including voice, data, video, mobile, conferencing, and ensures continuation of service to ERT through monitoring of SLAs and support contracts.
    2. Administers and supports all telecom system activities including voice, call center, video and web conferencing, wireless, voice mail, and inter and intra-site telecommunications systems.
    3. Analyzes and supports ERT’s call center(s) and telecommunications systems, and develops and/or coordinates the implementation of new and/or enhanced customer service systems and/or processes as required to meet the evolving needs of the organization.
    4. Responsible for monitoring telecom systems to ensure fast resolution of problems, including issue tracking and resolution.
    5. Evaluates and installs hardware and software updates, and when necessary escalates problems to the respective telecom vendor for immediate resolution.
    6. Maintains and updates system documentation, diagrams, and configuration based on SOP’s and best practice guidelines.
    7. Monitors performance, capacity, and availability of all telecoms systems which interface with production systems.

    1. Bachelors in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
    2. Minimum 8 years of experience in telecom systems administration, preferably with NEC SVXXX and Cisco Call Manager.
    3. Strong knowledge of telecom principles, concepts, and theories in ACD, VoIP, SIP, and telecommunications platforms, as well as working knowledge of principles and concepts in other Information Technology functions.
    4. System administration experience with strong analytical, planning, project management, and problem solving abilities.
    5. Strong knowledgeable of NEC and Cisco telecom systems & solutions.
    6. Familiar with Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Windows 2003 and 2008 Operating Systems.
    7. Experience with telecom vendor contract management and negotiation.
    8. Team player and able to work with technical peers and non-technical end users.
    9. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
