  • Overview

    In this role, you will be responsible for the global Sales of all ERT’s product and service lines within Europe.  Implement and support development of specific sales strategies and tactics as directed by Executive Sales Management.  Execute strategic initiatives to generate new and/or incremental sources of revenue through identification and establishment of business relationships.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Directly manage all assigned Senior Directors, Directors and Associate Directors in the development and growth of sales in all product and service areas of ERT.
    2. As part of the Sales Management team help to develop all sales Meetings, In Services, and Training modules in support of ERT’s sales strategies. This includes participation in strategy development at weekly management meetings and facilitation of the above mentioned meetings.
    3. Support the CRO Sales group with account specific planning and strategy as well as active participation in field sales travel.
    4. Provide management oversight and participation in the cultivation and formalization of business relationships.
    5. As required hire, train, develop, and manage the Key Sales team in the United States.
    6. Research new opportunities and identify prospects in the sales channel in support of the ERT Global Sales Team’s overall goals and objectives.
    7. Monitor and report on the ERT’s Cardiac Safety, eCOA, and Respiratory opportunities in the market. Direct weekly forecast calls and provide sales management support as necessary using as the platform to do this.

    Other Duties and Responsibilities:

    1. Provide input on trends in the field to ERT’s marketing department as required in the establishment and growth of an enhanced marketing program.

    Qualifications and Skills Needed:

    Required Skills and Experience:

    1. S./B.A in Business or similar required or equivalent experience.
    1. Pharmaceutical, CRO or core laboratory sales management experience and/or customer relationship management experience from either the sponsor or services perspective.
    2. Ten (10) plus years of sales and/or marketing experience.
    3. At least 3 years of management experience in progressively more challenging roles.
    4. At least 2 years of Sales Training experience preferred.
    5. Experience in branding, product development and product execution a plus.
    6. Travel of up to 40%.
