    Test Specialist.


    The Test Specialist will carry out all necessary testing for a complete system landscape. Testing is done according to predefined test activities that are individual to a system setup and therefore must be created from the scratch or by modification of existing workflows. The target of test is typically not an isolated system but a number of interdependent systems that contribute to a business case. All testing must be done in strong interaction with other ERT departments.



    1. Review (study specific) specification and manuals
    2. Participate in internal kickoff meetings and status meetings
    3. Design of (reusable) test cases/ test scenarios with state of the art techniques
    4. Execution of test cases/test scenarios
    5. Analysis of test results
    6. Review of the designed and executed test cases/test scenarios
    7. Managing of issues by using the dedicated bug tracking tool
    8. Responsibility of setup and maintenance of the test environment
    9. Create, review and maintain all related necessary test documentations
    10. Communicate the current status, delays or issues to the Lead Tester or Team Supervisor. Additionally clarify issues with responsible departments


    1. Support test process improvement activities
    2. Create and maintain reusable test data
    3. Provide practical suggestions for the further development of Test Automation Tool
    4. In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, the employee is obliged to perform other tasks upon request.




    1. IT related, scientific or technical education/degree or equivalent
    2. Hands-on experience (at least 1 year) in testing software (embedded, standalone or web based)
    3. Good understanding of software development processes and software testing lifecycle
    4. Good trouble shooting and communication skills in English (mandatory) and German language (optional)
    5. Analytical, systematical and single handed working methods
    6. Quality awareness
    7. Experience of working in a team
