Following the internal promotion of Andrew Cooper to the role of Chief Commerical Officer (CCO) we are hiring the following 

 

Group Vice President (GVP), Portfolio Sales - Strategic

Accounts 

 

The GVP, Portfolio Sales - Strategic Accounts will be responsible for the global business development of all ERT’s product and service lines to our global startegic accounts. 

 

As a key and senior member of the commercial team the GVP role will implement and support development of specific sales strategies and tactics.  Execute strategic initiatives to generate new and/or incremental sources of revenue through identification and establishment of business relationships.

Responsibilities

Leading a gloabl and highly succesful team, the GVP, Portfolio Sales - Strategic Accounts is a senior appointment within the Commerical team and will involve the following:

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Responsible for driving sales and achieving the sales bookings targets.

 

Lead a successful team with an understanding of individual talents and team strengths to meet client needs and expectations.

 

Build and maintain broad-based relationships with clients, business, industry and professional networks to assist in driving business development and gaining insights.

 

Be a thought leader and evangelize the value of ERT through the development of innovative and unique strategic partnerships with clients and business leaders.

 

Ensure that sales results are consistent with plan/budget and develops proactive mitigation and strategies.

 

Develop and execute sales plan that will generate new business, grow existing business and hit sales goals.

 

Provide deep, strategic insight into the competitive landscape and bring perspective to ERT’s leadership team in order to achieve best in class status for our sales.

 

Remain current on new technologies, marketplace adoption and internal adoption of products to support the needs of the organization and clients.

 

Develop future paths to grow our leadership bench.

 

Work collaboratively with Product, Operations and Marketing teams to develop and enhance products, and ensure successful activation, deployment, fulfillment and delivery.

 

Serve as a key member of the sales leadership team and provide executive level insight and leadership in assessing, developing, and implementing both long-term and short-term strategies and initiatives that define our value proposition, differentiates our products and enhances our competitive advantage.

 

 

Qualifications

The GVP, Portfolio Sales - Strategic Accounts is a key, senior role within our commercial organisation and as such requires 

 

Minimum of 10-15 years of sales experience, with at least 5 years of sales management experience 

 

Successful track record of selling clinical trial technologies and services to the Top 25 Pharmaceutical companies

 

Proven ability to develop and lead strategic sales initiatives that result in increased in bookings

 

Ability to drive balanced sales success across multiple and complex product lines

 

Experience of leading a global sales organization

 

Experience of managing managers
