Overview

The Lead, Change Order Sales Associate will be a 12-15 month contract role and will be responsible for overseeing the increase of bookings and revenue form ERT’s existing client projects through the execution of project change orders and project reconciliations.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Leads the CO Sales Associate team’s efforts to identify, research and recommend new products and services for on-going projects based on client recommendations/requests and competitive intelligence.
  2. Oversees and coordinates with the project management and business development teams to identify, recommend and schedule in-person client visits when appropriate.
  3. Drives communication with clients regarding services, the customer experience, potential problems, etc. related to change work.
  4. Focuses on cross selling and up-selling.
  5. Works in coordination with legal/contracts team to prepare and distribute contract documents to customers for changes in scope.
  6. Manages the Change Order Sales Associates efforts to drive change order opportunities to signature.
  7. Maintains and updates ERT’s sales database with on-going opportunity values.
  8. Monitors client behavior, identify trends in change order volume and value.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Leads weekly Change Order cadence call.
  2. Supports Operations/Project Management in evaluating scope changes for on-going projects.
  3. Participates in meetings with Sales Operations team, Sales meetings, and other departmental meetings as needed.
  4. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications to ensure team growth and benchmark strategies.
  5. Provides other support and takes on additional responsibilities as needed by ERT Sr. Management.
  6. Performs other duties, assignments or special projects as needed.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS NEEDED:

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, finance/accounting, communications, marketing, or a closely related field
  • Minimum 5 or more years' experience in clinical trials or clinical trials support services org.
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Office and computer systems.
  • The ability to work in a fast pace environment with constantly changing priorities and change direction in a variety of workplace situations.
  • Requires a motivated, self-starter
  • The ability to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing, with internal and external customers.
  • Excellent organization skills with ability to multi-task and exercise good judgment, tact and confidentiality in all matters.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to work well with others

The Department Head has the discretion to hire personnel with a combination of experience and education, which may vary from the above listed qualifications.
