Overview

The Pre-Sales Risk Analyst reports to the Manager, Security and Risk. This role serves to lead the technical pre-sales process in providing excellent support to ERT’s customers. Accurately responding to queries regarding ERT’s security posture on our custom applications and systems from a technical perspective will support the sales cycle, enabling ERT’s Security and Risk team to communicate effectively with our customers and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will

  • Engage early and throughout the sales process to Identify potential security risks in proposed solutions.
  • Assist in the creation of technical data security sales presentations and demos
  • Identify potential security risks in proposed solutions, engaging SecOps as needed.
  • Provide technical sales support preparing and presenting product demonstrations
  • Respond to technical sections of RFPs/ RFIs
  • Complete work accurately and within the deadlines required.
  • Maintain customer centric goals.
  • Work in a cross-functional team environment while maintaining confidentiality of investigation information.
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical procedures and government regulations.
  • Able to work remotely.
  • Effectively collaborate and communicate with R&D, DevOps, IT and Executive Management and Lines of Business to report out security operations and infrastructure operations status and security related issues.

Qualifications

What we seek - 

  • Bachelor’s degree or two years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Basic understanding of IT operations and service support processes
  • Able to confidently dispense knowledge to a highly skilled and experienced audience
  • Possessing of a growth mindset who sees challenges as learning opportunities
  • General knowledge of working with OWASP and SANS20 concepts for various solutions preferred.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, or other regulated industry preferred
